The Horticulture Innovation Lab is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and managed by a team at the University of California, Davis. The program is part of Feed the Future, the U.S. government’s global hunger and food security initiative.
Together with more than 200 organizations and 18 university partners, we build international partnerships for fruit and vegetable research to improve livelihoods in developing countries.
Our program is one of 24 Feed the Future Innovation Labs, which draw upon the expertise of top U.S. universities and international research institutions to address food security challenges in developing countries.
Here at the blog, you will find program news, updates from our projects, new photos, field notes, and other news related to fruits, vegetables, agricultural research, international development, nutrition and capacity building. We think you will like it!
