2023 Annual Feed the Future Innovation Labs Regional Partners Meeting

Systemic and Innovative Solutions for Climate Adaptation and Mitigation in Agriculture, Food, and Nutrition Systems

On May 15-19, Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Horticulture had the honor and pleasure of hosting on behalf of USAID, the 2023 Feed the Future Innovation Labs Regional Parters Meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. May 15th and 16th featured a Public Agenda, open to communities involved in global food security and sustainable development. Stakeholders from all sectors, including government, non-profit, private, and academia were encouraged to attended the in-person event. 

The conference featured a diverse range of speakers, including leading experts in agriculture, nutrition, and international development. Attendees were given the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions and networking events.

Topics covered at the conference included:

  • Strengthening food systems and supply chains
  • Investing in agricultural research and innovation
  • Addressing climate change and environmental sustainability
  • Improving nutrition and health outcomes
  • Promoting gender equality and empowering women and youth

Day three's agenda involved an internal working day, while the fourth and fifth days' agenda involved field site visits.
