This poster presented by Mohd Rezaul Islam of the Horticulture Innovation Lab focuses on using the chimney solar dryer for efficient and hygienic fish drying in Bangladesh. The chimney solar dryer was designed by UC Davis researchers to optimize temperature and airflow by using a chimney and large heat-collection area. The chimney solar dryer is more hygienic compared to traditional sun drying and does not require any pesticides.
