Description

Addressing marketing constraints through technological and financial interventions is the subject of this 5-minute lightning talk, given by Borarin Buntong of the Royal University of Agriculture in Cambodia. Buntong outlines the evolution of a project that set up savings groups among farmers and helped link them to markets, and implemented pest-exclusion nethouses available. The goal of this work was to help farmers meet high demand for high-quality, safe vegetable crops and increase farm revenue.

This presentation was given at the 2016 Horticulture Innovation Lab annual meeting in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
