Description

Dr. Kelly Ivors with the Department of Plant Pathology at North Carolina State University presents on the establishment of the Phytophthora database and how to use it.

The Phytophthora database is a cyber-infrastructure supporting identification and monitoring of Phytophthora species. Knowledge on the diversity and ecology of Phytophthora is limited and introduction of exotic pathogens and variants of endogenous pathogens has been greatly accelerated. This database is for crosslinking the genotype, phenotype, and distribution of individual Phytophthora species/isolates.
