Description

This report gives an in-depth narrative, the objectives and outcomes, and the indicators of the project.

This project facilitated the organization and strengthening of smallholder farmer groups by providing technical training on fruit and vegetable crop management and improving farmers' access to production technologies. The project carried out farmer field schools, worked with a nursery to expand their production, built capacity with local development actors, hired host country native interns, demonstrated controlled experimentation to farmers, empowered women through project activities, and evaluated the project's impact.

The report concludes by listing strategies that were important to farmer field school implementation and mistakes to avoid in future, and providing the indicators.
