Dr. Lambert H. B. Kanga is a Professor of Entomology in the College of Agricultural and Food Sciences at Florida A&M University, where he joined the faculty in 2003. He specializes in research on Integrated Pest Management, Biological Control, Insecticide Resistance, Conservation Biology, and Insect Pathology. He was honored in 2021with the “Bright Idea” award by the Friends of Southern Region IPM Center for Excellence for his groundbreaking research on honeybee colony collapse disorder. He was also the recipient of the 2022 Southeastern Branch of the Entomological Society of America Award for Excellence in Integrated Pest Management. He has also conducted trainings to assist agricultural technicians in more than 15 developing countries, including a 2019 IPM workshop in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. He received his M.S. from North Dakota State University and his PhD from Texas A&M University.
