Ms. Kalyani Mishra Tripathi is a horticulturist professional with a doctoral degree in horticulture science from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) of Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal. She is a full time Professor of Department of Horticulture at Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), and possess almost thirty years of teaching and research experience in the field of postharvest horticulture systems in developing countries. She has also worked as a researcher in numerous national and international projects funded by USAID, the World Vegetable Centre (AVRDC),and Australian Aid. She is also a recipient of outstanding women award “Nepal Bidhya Bhusan Ka” in 2018 by the Government of Nepal for her continuous and long-term dedication to Nepalese agriculture sector. She has published several research papers in number of reputed national and international journals. At present, she also chairs the “Service Commission” of AFU. She is an active member of Nepal Horticultural Society (NHS), and the Association of Nepalese Agricultural Professionals of Americas (NAPA).
