Trellis Fund Summit

When: March 25-28, 2019
Where: Washington, D.C.

In 2019, the Horticulture Innovation Lab brought together alumni of the Trellis Fund program — both students and grant awardees — to reflect on successes, challenges and lessons learned from experiences with the program since 2011.

More than 30 participants from 10 countries gathered in Washington, D.C., for the Trellis Fund Summit. Participants began with a day of reflection, planning and networking and then attended the two-day Horticulture Research for Development Conference. The summit concluded with a workshop focused on fundraising and grant writing, concluding with a local farm visit.
