Our Consortium

The UC Davis-led Innovation Lab for Horticulture Consortium consists of global leaders in horticulture, agronomics, agri-sociology, agribusiness and agri-policy.

Consortium Partners: 

Consortium Partners provide a broad range of expertise in horticulture, agribusiness, and social science. Consortium Partners provide guidance and expertise in the regional evaluation of challenges and opportunities, development of Requests for Proposals (RFP), project evaluation, and networking with applicable local organizations. Consortium Partners and representatives:

Consortium Specialists: 

Specialists address three Cross Cutting themes: Gender Equality, Equity, and Participation; Youth Opportunities; and, Nutrition and Food Safety. Specialists provide guidance and expertise in the evaluation of regional challenges and opportunities, development of RFPs, project implementation and evaluation, and networking with applicable local organizations.

Consortium Scaling Partners:

Scaling Partners provide expertise for positioning research deliverables for broad upstream adoption and both a development, large-scale implementer perspective and a private sector association or trade group perspective pertinent to horticulture.

The partners and specialists in the UC Davis-led Consortium have the expertise and networks (both in-country and in the United States) to effectively implement a locally led, globally supported Horticulture Innovation Lab that will produce systemic, sustainable, and inclusive improvements in the horticulture sector.
