Drying seeds and produce

One-third of food produced around the world is wasted every year. The cold chain is a popular practice for reducing food waste. The dry chain is novel practice for reducing food waste and has more potential for impact than the cold chain. Food loss is due to insufficient drying, pests, contamination, and reduced resilience. Drying beads, DrumDry, DryBox, and FlexiDry are technologies developed by Rhino Research to address factors contributing to food loss.
