Description

This video, called "#UCDavis Life: Making an Impact" was posted on January 9, 2018 by UC Davis. The 2-minute video focuses on Anna Gomes, a UC Davis student, her work with the DryCard™ in D-Lab, and how it's having an impact on the world.

UC Davis students develop design solutions to help solve global challenges in D-Lab. D-Lab brings students from various majors to work on issues such as energy, sustainability, and agriculture in developing countries. Gomes has been working in D-Lab to improve the card for the past 5 months.

The DryCard was invented by Jim Thompson and Michael Reid at the Horticulture Innovation Lab.
