Examining the effect of new technologies on the income, nutrition and health of households is the objective of the study discussed in this five-minute lightning talk by Angelos Deltsidis. Deltsidis is the International Postharvest Specialist for the Horticulture Innovation Lab; this project is a collaboration with the Nutrition Innovation lab at Tufts Univeristy.
Deltsidis outlines three technologies the project is implementing: the solar chimney dryer, CoolBot, and floating gardens. He discusses the reasons for each technology and briefly outlines the experience and results of implementation.
