Dr. Mary Ann Sayoc is the Public Affairs Lead for the East-West Seed Group based in Thailand. Dr. Sayoc represents EWS globally in various policy-influencing platforms and industry associations that are relevant to the company in this role. She was an Executive Board member of the Global Crop Diversity Trust for six years.

Before starting her journey with East-West Seed, Mary Ann had a long career in the government, where she held key positions in the Department of Agriculture as Regional Director and Executive Director of the Agricultural Training Institute. In November 2000, she took on the challenge to lead East-West Seed Philippines when she accepted EastWest Seed Founder Simon Groot's invitation to join the company as the country's General Manager.
