Katheryn Gregerson has over four years of experience in international agriculture development, including business development and program coordination, building skills in proposal writing, communication of success stories, cross-disciplinary research, and international partner coordination. As a Graduate Student Researcher at the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Horticulture, she organized communication materials for the GenderUp inclusive scaling tool and facilitated Horticulture Investment Study workshops in Kenya, Guatemala, and Nepal, collaborating with diverse individuals and acting as a lead facilitator. Previously, she served as a Graduate Student Assistant at the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Markets, Risk and Resilience at UC Davis, where she communicated project progress through annual reports and explained index insurance to non-technical audiences. Her earlier experience includes an 8-month role at Kansas State University’s Animal Science Department, coordinating USAID and USDA-funded projects in Cambodia and Paraguay, respectively, which involved managing travel logistics and navigating donor requirements. Additionally, Katheryn worked as a Program Development Coordinator at Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) for 1.5 years, writing technical and managerial sections for large USAID proposals and collaborating with global experts to ensure project success.
